新学堂是经青岛市教育局审批、具有办学许可证的正规培训学校，也是国家文化部艺术考级定点单位、青岛市最具影响力艺术培训机构。目前已成为青岛东川路小学、枣山路小学、浮山路小学、青岛二中院士港分校的校内托管单位。 学校的教育教学以“才华源于快乐，习惯成就未来”为办学理念，采用多元智能教育理论，创设独特的课程体系，让孩子多才多艺，茁壮成长。学校采用小班化教学，在小学语文写字、识字教学；数学思维教学；硬笔、软笔书法教学；美术教学；习惯养成教育等方面拥有较为雄厚的师资力量和教育资源。
